Michał Kulesza

Michał is a partner in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and the head of the FinTech & ICT Regulations team. He specialises in regulatory issues related to IT. He provides ongoing advice to financial sector entities in the areas of regulations (e.g. EBA, DORA and PFSA guidelines), IT outsourcing, digitalisation and cloud services, both on the side of contracting authorities and solution providers. He has led unique projects with a value in excess of PLN 10 billion, including negotiating a deal to develop the regions where Microsoft and Google are present in Poland and implementing pioneering cloud solutions in banks, insurance companies, investment funds and entities in the healthcare (medical and pharmaceutical), energy, critical infrastructure and telecommunications sectors. He conducts training sessions, classes for postgraduate students and is a speaker at industry conferences. He has authored a number of publications in the trade and business press. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and the American Law School organised by the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida.
